As I’m writing this review it has been 1 year and 2 months since Infinity War’s release and goddamn if it still isn’t one of the best movies I have ever seen. The culmination of over 10 years and 20 movies. I won’t go into any detail because this movie has so much going on that this review would be pages long. However I will say that I think the Russo brothers are some of the best directors working today. What they’ve done to the MCU is becoming the framework for the entire future of the universe. Even what they’ve done on projects like Community is astounding. The way that they are able to juggle all the plot lines and character arcs in this movie is incredible. No one feels left out and, even though some characters get more screen time than others, everybody gets their moment in the movie. Not only did they make a movie this big with a plot that makes sense, they made it fun to watch. It’s just an incredible achievement that I don’t think has ever been done before in film history.
