Bohemian Rhapsody is a cookie cutter biopic. That being said it is a very entertaining biopic. It doesn’t offer anything new or do anything unexpected, but the performances from the cast, as well as the amazing soundtrack it had access to, make it a pretty good movie. Rami Malek plays Freddy Mercury very well and he’s probably the best part of the film. All the concerts are spectacular, specifically the Live Aid finale. I don’t know that I’ll remember this movie in a few years, but it’s certainly a fun watch for anyone who loves Queen or doesn’t know who Queen is as well.
