Bad Times at the El Royale is a stylistic film with an interesting story but it tries to be Tarantino-like but fails to compare to its inspirations. Without making the obvious comparison to Tarantino, it’s a decent film with intriguing mysteries. Chris Hemsworth is a standout along with Jeff Bridges. In the hands of a better director it could’ve been a masterpiece and in the hands of a worse director it could’ve been boring and uninteresting.
